This product is made using 100% mulberry silk, a lustrous and luxurious fibre with high tensile strength. Silk is a natural and renewable fibre that forms on a cocoon as a natural part of the life cycle of the Bombyx Mori silkworm. Silkworms feed on mulberry leaves and, in general, require no chemical pesticide or fertilisers to manage. Our silk supplier operates a regenerative agriculture system with our fabric being bluesign® approved, which provides for strict controls on chemicals management, water use and emissions.
